It depends on the app. Cross-platform can be a sensible, lower-cost choice for simpler products where speed to market matters more than squeezing out performance. Native is the better call when you need heavy hardware access, demanding animations, strong security, or the newest OS features on launch day. We'll tell you honestly which one fits, even when that means pointing you toward cross-platform.

For native, iOS and Android have separate frontend codebases, because each uses its own language, tools, and interface patterns. The backend and business logic are usually shared. That's the trade-off with native: more build effort than a single cross-platform codebase, in exchange for better performance and a genuine platform fit.

A single-platform app of moderate complexity usually runs about three to six months. Building both iOS and Android natively takes longer, since you're effectively delivering two apps that each need testing. Cost is driven mainly by feature depth, the number of integrations, security requirements, and whether you need one platform or both.

You do. The source code, IP, and store accounts belong to you from the outset, and that's written into the agreement. If you later bring development in-house or move to another team, everything transfers cleanly.

We use a mix of automated and manual testing across a matrix of real devices and OS versions, not just simulators. This matters most on Android, where hardware and screen sizes vary widely, but iOS versions differ too. We also profile performance and run security and regression checks before each release.

We handle submission to both stores, including the compliance checks each one requires, and we stay on for maintenance afterward. That covers new OS versions, policy changes, monitoring, and updates. And if an app gets rejected in review, we manage the fixes and resubmission so the launch doesn't stall.
