Gujarat’s Centre of Excellence heralded as stepping stone for advanced tech.

India’s startup ecosystem, often touted as the bedrock of innovation, has found a vocal advocate in Mr. Jaimin Shah, the CEO & MD of Dev Information Technology Limited. Further cementing his commitment to the sector, as the Chairman of the IT Sub Committee at FICCI, Gujarat, Mr Shah has always championed the cause of technology-driven entrepreneurship.

During a notable address at the Centre of Excellence (CoE) inauguration at IIT Gandhinagar, he laid out a compelling vision for the state of Gujarat. He emphasized that establishing the CoE is more than just an infrastructural addition. It’s a clarion call for innovators, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts to converge and push the boundaries of what’s possible. Specifically, Mr. Shah spotlighted the avenues in fields like the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

While already making global waves, such technologies need focused attention and resources to flourish in the Indian context. The CoE, according to Mr Shah, is poised to be that nurturing ground for Gujarat, allowing the state to catch up and potentially lead in these domains.

His insightful views and the potential implications of the CoE for Gujarat’s tech landscape were featured in DNA Ahmedabad, shedding light on the promising horizon ahead.
