Dynamics 365 licensing services that fit how your team’s work

We help businesses assess requirements, choose the right licenses, buy them through a suitable route, and keep them optimized as people and applications change. Here is where we help.

Dynamics 365 license assessment

Know what you need before you buy.

We review your users, departments, and how each team works before any purchase happens. This gives you a clear view of the licenses your business needs, so you stop paying for access that nobody uses.

Offerings:
  • User role and access review
  • Application requirement mapping
  • Current license usage analysis
  • Over-licensing and gap checks
  • Right-sized licensing recommendations

Dynamics 365 license selection and planning

The right license for each person.

We match every user to a suitable license based on their role, the applications they touch, and the functionality they genuinely need. Finance, sales, and warehouse teams rarely need the same level of access.

Offerings:
  • Role-based license matching
  • Base and attach planning
  • Full user versus Team Member decisions
  • Professional versus Enterprise selection
  • Multi-application licensing structure

Dynamics 365 license procurement

Buy through the right channel.

We help you acquire your Microsoft license through a suitable purchasing route and agreement type, with the correct quantities and license mix agreed before anything is ordered or renewed.

Offerings:
  • Licensing route guidance
  • Agreement type advice
  • Quantity and seat planning
  • Renewal timing considerations
  • Purchase documentation support

Dynamics 365 license optimization

Stop paying for access you do not use.

We review your existing licenses to find unused seats, incorrect license types, and users who qualify for a cheaper option. Then we recommend a cleaner structure and help you act on it.

Offerings:
  • Unused and inactive seat review
  • Base and attach corrections
  • Team Member downgrade opportunities
  • Compliance and entitlement checks
  • Cost reduction recommendations

Dynamics 365 application licensing

Every application licensed correctly.

We cover licensing across the full Dynamics 365 range, so users working in one or several applications are licensed correctly and combined efficiently under Microsoft's base and attach rules.

Offerings:
  • Business Central Essentials and Premium
  • Sales and Customer Service tiers
  • Finance and Supply Chain Management
  • Field Service and Project Operations
  • Commerce and Human Resources

Power BI licensing and analytics

Reporting licensed the right way.

We help you choose Power BI licensing that suits how your teams build and view reports, then connect it sensibly to the data coming out of your Dynamics 365 environment.

Offerings:
  • Power BI Free, Pro, and Premium Per User
  • Microsoft Fabric capacity planning
  • Creator versus viewer licensing
  • Report sharing and access rules
  • Embedded reporting considerations

Why businesses get their Dynamics 365 licensing reviewed

Good licensing decisions save money and prevent surprises later. Here is what a proper review gives your business.

Reduce unnecessary licensing costs

We look at who really uses what, then remove or downgrade access nobody needs. Paying full price for light users is one of the most common and avoidable licensing mistakes.

Match licenses to user roles

Finance, sales, warehouse, service, and management teams work differently and need different licenses. We map each role to the right license instead of putting everyone on the same expensive plan.

Plan licensing before you implement

Deciding your licensing structure early prevents unexpected costs once a project goes live. We help you budget with a realistic license mix rather than discovering gaps after go-live.

Simplify multi-application licensing

Businesses using several Dynamics 365 applications can combine them efficiently using base and attach licensing. We plan that structure so a single user pays once at full price and adds the rest cheaply.

Improve visibility over who has access

We help you understand who holds which license and why, so you can answer that question confidently at renewal, during an audit, or when someone leaves.

Scale licensing as your business grows

As you add people, applications, and processes, your licensing should be reviewed rather than left alone. We help you adjust the mix so it keeps pace with the business.

Our Approach

How we work through your Dynamics 365 licensing

Our process is built around one practical question: which licenses do your people actually need, and how do you manage them well.

Requirements assessment

We review your business applications, user roles, departments, and access requirements so we understand how your teams really work before recommending anything.

Application mapping

We map each business function to the Dynamics 365 applications and capabilities it depends on, so licensing decisions follow real usage rather than guesswork.

License evaluation

We compare the applicable licensing options for each user against Microsoft's current rules, including base, attach, full user, and Team Member choices.

License planning

We build a practical licensing structure covering users, applications, and any additional requirements, with the mix and quantities set out clearly.

Optimization review

We identify unnecessary, underused, or incorrectly assigned licenses and show you where the structure can be tightened without losing needed access.

Ongoing licensing support

We help you review licensing as users, applications, and business needs change, so your setup stays right through growth and renewals.

Have questions?

Find the right solution for you now

Start with what each person actually does. A user who runs core finance work needs a full application license, while someone who only reads records or enters the odd update may fit a Team Member license. We assess your roles and match each user to a suitable license rather than putting everyone on the same plan.

User licensing assigns a license to a named person, which suits most office and remote staff. Device licensing, available in limited scenarios such as shared workstations, lets several people use one license on a single device. Most Dynamics 365 licensing is per named user, so device licensing only helps in specific shift-based or shared-terminal setups.

When one user needs more than one Dynamics 365 application, their first and highest-priced app is the base license, and each qualifying additional app can be added as a cheaper attach license. For example, a user on Sales Enterprise as their base can often add Customer Service Enterprise at the lower attach price instead of paying full price twice. Attach licenses require a valid qualifying base license.

Yes. A single user can be licensed for several applications, and the base and attach model is designed exactly for this. They pay full price once for their main application, then add other qualifying applications at the lower attach price, which is usually far cheaper than buying separate full licenses.

It depends on who builds reports and who only views them. People who create reports generally need Power BI Pro or Premium Per User, while viewers can be covered by per-user licenses or, at Microsoft Fabric F64 capacity and above, by a free license. Power BI supports reporting and analytics on your Dynamics 365 data, so we plan it alongside your Dynamics 365 licensing rather than as an afterthought.
